Breaking Dawn 100% confirmed!

http://images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/20090810/425.pattinson.stewart.reed.hardwicke.rathbone.081009..jpg

For all of you nervous Nellies who need everything to be 100 percent confirmed to believe it (that would be you, Robsten doubters), Summit has officially announced that Breaking Dawn is a go.
Like we told you months ago, Summit and the cast were onboard for the fourth film and they damn well planned to pump out this franchise basically as fast as possible. Why? Because the horny cast can't keep off each other—that's why. And that so hasn't changed, darlings. If anything, it's only gotten more twisted. So these movies need to get wrapped pronto before the cast really starts pissing each other off. Just ask Terry Tush-Trade, Twyla Babe-Sucker, Julie Bone Jumper and then some.
So is B.D. still on track to be PG like screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg dished a while back? And are any castmembers getting axed à la Rachelle Lefevre?
First up: Deep Twi tells us that execs over at the studio know their audience. And it's hardly just made up of 13-year-old girls. Don't expect an R rating or anything, but as far as we've heard, the film will retain the original book's "sexual heat."
Too dee-lish. Flying feathers, broken headboard, plus, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart equals box-office gold.
As for which castmembers will return?
"Everyone will be back," Deep Twi assures us.
We know Rob has already agreed, and since Kristen "can't wait to get pregnant" we're gonna go out on a limb and saying she's def not going anywhere. Ditto for Taylor Lautner.
And when we chatted with Ashley Greene last month, she not only confirmed the fourth movie would happen, but that it would happen fast, so she's obviously safe too. And sorry—but Nikki Reed def isn't going anywhere either. Why get rid of the hot be-yotch who keeps the tab controversy going? Not in this town, babes.
In fact, according to Deep Twi, dates for Breaking Dawn haven't been locked in yet because the studio wants to ensure the entire cast will be good to go.
Hooray! That's good news right? Or would you like to see any of your fave cast replaced?

Eclipse Casting News and Breaking Dawn Legal Woes

http://www.dreadcentral.com/img/news/aug09/jodelle.jpg

Bryce Dallas Howard isn't the only new name attached to the third installment in the Twilight Saga, David Slade's Eclipse. The news came down today that Jodelle Ferland from Silent Hill, The Messengers, and upcoming The Cabin in the Woods has joined the cast as well.

Variety posted the following description of Ferland's character: a vampire who has just been turned. Not much to go on, but those of you who are familiar with the story should have some idea of who that might be.
Meanwhile, Stephenie Meyer, author of the four Twilight books that started this craziness in the first place, and her publisher, Little, Brown & Co. (part of the Hachette Book Group), are beset with legal woes. Jordan Scott is claiming that Meyer's final chapter in the Twilight collection, Breaking Dawn, bears a striking resemblance to her novel The Nocturne, originally published in 2006. MTV provides a pretty good synopsis of the situation, including this statement from Hachette's attorney:

"Neither Stephenie Meyer nor her representatives had any knowledge of this writer or her supposed book prior to this claim. Ms. Scott's attorney has yet to furnish us with a copy of the book to support this claim as requested. The world of the 'Twilight Saga' and the stories within it are entirely the creation of Ms. Meyer. Her books have been a phenomenal sensation, and perhaps it shouldn't be surprising to hear that other people may seek to ride the coattails of such success. This claim is frivolous and any lawsuit will be defended vigorously."

Twilight Cast Confirmed Breaking Dawn!

Twilight Cast, MTV Movie Awards

After Robert Pattinson confirmed he was signed on for the fourth Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn, back in Cannes, we've all been dying for more juicy deets on the hypersexualized film. (More on exactly how much naughtier the flick will be, next week.)

Yes, we know we're getting overeager since the script for the third flick, Eclipse, which starts shooting Aug. 17, hasn't even been finished yet.

"I haven't seen a page," exclaimed Ashley Greene, who's heading back up to Vancouver to shoot the third Twi flick this summer.

Even though we're getting a tad ahead of ourselves, we tried to pry any dirt out of Ashley and Billy Burke last weekend on what's in store for the final movie.

Read on:

"All I know is that, as of now, I only signed on to do three," B.B. told us. Coyly played Billy. Maybe he's just trying to keep all Twi dirt on the down-low, or it could be that the secondary castmembers haven't started negotiations. Rob and Kristen Stewart are locked in (after so much drama you have no idea—but you're not interested in that, right?), so that's all that matters.

But Breaking Dawn isn't exactly as far away as you all would think.

"We're going to start right after Eclipse," says Ash.

That doesn't come as surprise to us, as we exclusively told you how Summit would be pumping out this franchise as fast as possible to avoid any "bumps" in the road.

So will we see any repeat directors for the fourth film?

"I don't think so," says Ms. Greene. "[Eclipse director] David [Slade] and [New Moon director] Chris [Weitz] will both be busy in postproduction, and Catherine [Hardwicke] will be doing Hamlet."

Well, like we said in last week's Truth, Lies, & Ted, there's no friggin' way Catherine would be back even if it was possible! Despite all the success and money C.H. brought Summit, insiders insist she's so crazy she wouldn't get the gig if Robsten themselves demanded it.

And as much as everyone adored Chris, that's not going to happen because of "scheduling conflicts," we're told.

So there ya have it. Who do you all think should do the fourth one?

New Moon star Ashley Greene hints that there will be a fourth Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn

http://image.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/image/AP_CP(1).jpg

When discussing the efficacy of a supposed Remember Me star Robert Pattinson and The Runaways star Kristen Stewart (co-stars on The Twilight Saga: New Moon and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) off-set romance, Ashley Greene made an interesting suggestion.

Said she, according to TransWorldNews, "“They're great on-screen, and obviously they get along. But maybe they should just not be a couple until after the fourth movie, ‘Breaking Dawn.’”

While no official confirmation has issued as to whether or not The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (based on Stephenie Meyer's fourth book, Breaking Dawn) will be made, and Twilight fans wait patiently in the rafters for a decision to be made on the matter, Ashley Greene's statements seem confident that the film will, indeed, come into being.

Most Twilight series fans would love nothing more than to know that the saga of Edward Cullen and Bella Swan will come to a close on-screen with Breaking Dawn, so this news is, once again, a matter of encouragement for those who do.

However, and one should always remember this, this is not an official confirmation by Summit Entertainment about The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, and one should continue to wait for such.

Breaking Dawn pre-production begins

So it’s been common knowledge for a while that “Eclipse,” the third installment of the “Twilight” Saga will definitely make it to the big screen; however, there has been some speculation about “Breaking Dawn,” the fourth and final book.

Although it has been mentioned by the cast, and rumored around the internet, Summit Entertainment has not confirmed anything yet. However, Summit Entertainment recently sent out an open casting call for the roles of Seth and Leah Clearwater in “Eclipse” inviting actors and actresses to send in audition tapes reading the given scenes. The scenes clearly portray plot lines from “Breaking Dawn.” Are you thinking what we’re thinking?

Take a look at the casting call, as well as the scenes, and let us know what you think.
