Twilight Saga: New Moon Updates: Wolf Pack Improvements

Finally! They've decided to have some improvements in the wolf pack! They change the cuddlier Jacob wolfy to a tougher one. I don't know with you guys, but I find the old one cute instead of deadly and powerful as the book says. Good thing they've made these improvements with the wolf pack. How bout you? Let me know what's your perspective about this stuff. :)

Taylor Lautner Talks 'New Moon' Wolf Pack
Get ready to meet the werewolves of New Moon, which hits theaters on November 20.
Taylor Lautner, aka Jacob Black, spilled some details about his buff buddies at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night.
He explained to MTV, "He's pissed off a lot in this movie. He is pissed off for many different reasons." So for that reason, he needs some friends to back him up.
"We've got Sam Uley, who leads the pack. We all follow him. He's the alpha. And then we've got Jared and Paul—Jared is a funny guy, a real jokester—and Bronson [Pelletier], who plays him, in real life is the same way, so he does that well. Paul is the hothead. He goes out with my girl, and I tear him to shreds. And then there's Kiowa [Gordon] who plays Embry—he's my best friend."
He also dished about an altered scene in the movie, which slightly changes the character of Quil Ateara to reflect his "smoothness" with the ladies, or funny lack thereof.
"Me and Bella—I'm sorry, Bella and I—are working on the bikes, and Embry and Quil come in," Lautner explained. "Quil's checking out Bella [and trying to be smooth] and is like, 'Hey, I'm Quil. Quil Ateara.' It's a really funny scene, and the two were really great in it."

Taylor Lautner Talks About The Shirtless Rain Scene
We all know that this picture of Taylor Lautner makes us swoon. ALL OF US. I got thinking though about how cold it was in Vancouver at that time and wondered how Taylor could have managed through that scene. I got my answer from an interview he did, this is what he said…
“I was shirtless, all I was wearing was shorts. We were in 35-degree (2 degrees Celsius) weather. They poured rain on us, which is like ice cold. And the scene was like four minutes long and I’m just sitting there and you can’t look cold. I’m the only one. I’m just standing there like basically naked with everybody like bundled up in this ice cold weather.”I have to say that from what I have seen it looks like it turned out good. I can’t wait to see the final product.
See the wallpaper version of the shirtless rainy picture of Jacob here.

'Twilight Saga: New Moon': First look at the Wolf Pack!
And suddenly, we're thinking about changing teams...USA Today has the first look at The Twilight Saga: New Moon's Wolf Pack. You're gonna wanna go ahead and click "Enlarge" on their photo of actors Alex Meraz (Paul), Chaske Spencer (Sam), Bronson Pelletier (Jared), and Kiowa Gordon (Embry) in costume -- because by in costume, we really mean shirtless. "It's not pleasant for the actors," director Chris Weitz acknowledged from the Vancouver, B.C. set. "But they have all been good-natured. They show up on location in drenching, cold rain, and I say, 'OK, off with the robes.'" Weitz told the paper that the actors went through "wolf camp" together, which helped them bond -- "They drove each other to get more buff" -- and that in between takes, they can be found lifting barbells, doing push-ups and eating red meat. I can see the DVD bonus feature now. And I like it. (He also said that their four-legged CGI alteregos will have the actors' eyes. If they can pull that effect off -- awesome.)
So how are we feeling about the Wolf Pack now? Seriously, I don't think I fully grasped how hot they were in the books. Stephenie Meyer really should have gone into more detail about how Paul's pants fall on his hips. If Taylor Lautner is lookin' anything like these guys, I will, for the first time, understand how some of you could be on Team Jacob. Should we do a recount? Vote in the poll after the jump.
